Americans are some of the luckiest people in the world. We can VOICE dissent. We can VOICE approval. We can VOICE our needs, desires, demands. And we have an arsenal of tools at our disposal to do so. Our vote, our dollar, our blogs. Yet, despite vast opportunity, we take this right for granted. Some would even say we are ignorantly allowing that right to be eroded without so much as a peep of resistance. Well, no more. The battle is on and we all have a role to play in shaping the global and local cultures we want to live in. The solution is simple: the best way to maintain the right to speak up is to do it often and responsibly. Use it or lose it. So—what will you take a stand for today?

  1. I am getting tired of capitalism for the rich and foreclosures and no jobs for the millions of Americans who need help. We need to put pressure on the Congress and White House to pass meaningful legislation to save homes and provide jobs now, not a year from now.
